This. The media is loudly proclaiming that the shooter was mentally ill, based solely (from what I can tell) on the claims of his ex wife, who believes that mental illness caused him to commit domestic violence against her. The thing is, you don’t need to be mentally ill to abuse your wife. You don’t need to be mentally ill to be filled with hate and decide to murder people. I’ve seen no evidence that the shooter had a diagnosed mental illness.
i’ve also seen so many news sources questioning “what motivated this?”
